Overland Jakarta – Bandung – Yogyakarta

DAY-01 : ARRIVAL IN JAKARTA

Arrival in CGK – meet and greet by tour guide, and transfer to your hotel for check in and overnight stay

DAY-02 : JAKARTA HIGHLIGHT TOUR (BL)

Breakfast at hotel

Experience the fascinating history and culture of the Indonesian capital. With your guide, drive into the heart of the old city, into the Fatahillah Square, the heart of the 18th-century Dutch colonial administration, admire well-preserved buildings and the legendary Portuguese cannon. Also, on the square, visit the Wayang Museum, dedicated to Indonesia’s beloved storytelling tradition of shadow puppetry. Inside, delight in thousands of two-dimensional creations. Next exploring the Merdeka Square (Independence Square) where the at the National Monument, a stunning 450-foot-tall marble obelisk topped with a flame covered in gold foil. We will be giving you time to take a picture taken for a few minutes.  Then, we will have a special time to explore National Museum or more known as the Elephant Building after the elephant statue in its forecourt. Its broad collections cover all of Indonesia’s territory and almost all of its history. The museum has endeavored to preserve Indonesia’s heritage for two centuries. Next stop to view Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Church. Marvel at the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the neo-Gothic style of the early 20th-century church. Standing proudly side by side, their proximity celebrates religious tolerance and the diversity of Indonesian culture. Lunch included at local restaurant

DAY-03: JAKARTA – FREE AT LEISURE (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Enjoy your free time or take an optional tour to know more about Jakarta.

DAY-04: JAKARTA – BANDUNG (BL)

We start the tour to Bandung and stop at Bogor to visit the Bogor Botanical Garden. The Bogor botanical garden hosts more than 15,000 species of trees and plants and over 5,000 species of tropical orchids. The lunch is served at a local restaurant afterwards the trip is continued to Bandung via Puncak to admire the Tea Plantation. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY-05: BANDUNG TOUR (BL)

Breakfast at Hotel, then visiting Tangkuban Perahu, a smouldering 2000m wide, surrealistic volcano 1800 above sea level. Then continued to Ciater hot spring while passing through the huge wonderful tea plantation. Here, you will have lunch and possibly take a bath in the hot natural water pool. Afternoon back to Bandung with a stop at Padasuka Village to enjoy the Angklung (traditional bamboo instrument) performance at Saung Angklung Ujo. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY-06: BANDUNG –  KUTOARJO BY TRAIN (BL)

In the morning, we will transfer you to the train station at Bandung to take a morning executive train to Yogyakarta. Midnoon, You’ll arrive in Kutoarjo – Purworejo. rejin your private car, and continue the trip to Wonosobo. Stop enroute for lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon arrive in Wonosobo – check in and overnight stay.

DAY-07 DIENG (BL)

Early Breakfast at Hotel. Early Morning, drive to Dieng Plateau, for exploring the oldest Hindu Temple complex in Java will be enjoyed and visited. Some still active craters and colour lakes are the next visits. While taking a deep breath of morning fresh air, you could enjoy the morning life of Dieng’s people starting their work in their vegetable plantation. Lunch included at a local restaurant.

Then, about a 3 – 4 hour drive back to Yogyakarta for an overnight stay.

DAY-08: BOROBUDUR TOUR (BL)

Breakfast at Hotel. Afterward visiting Borobudur Temple including Mendut and Pawon. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive back to Yogyakarta, visit Batik Home Industry and Wayang Gallery & Silver Craft at Kotagede. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY-09: YOGYAKARTA TOUR  – BECAK – PRAMBANAN RAMAYANA BALLET TOUR(B,D)

Breakfast at Hotel.  Yogyakarta City tour will visit Kraton, Bird Market, Water Castle including becak  rides. PM, visit the most beautiful hindu temple, Prambanan. Continued with enjoying Dinner at a local restaurant and then watching ramayana show at open air theatre.

After the show, transfer back to hotel for overnight stay

DAY-10: SOLO CITY TOUR (BL)

Breakfast at hotel.Then, drive an one and half hour to Solo to visit Mangkunegaran Palace, Triwindu Antique MArket, and Batik Museum Danar Hadi. Lunch included at a local restaurant. Back to Yogyakarta for overnight stay

DAY-11: DEPARTURE YOGYAKARTA (B)

Morning will be free at your own leisure, until due time for departure we will provide transfer to the airport for flight departure to other onward destinations.
